The Geoprobe 6620DT is quite simply the most powerful and versatile machine manufactured today.
This unit can probe deeper and faster than any other unit, has the power to penetrate to depths >100', and can switch from probing to hollow stem augers in minutes.

The GH60 hammer which provide you the needed power to sample in difficult situations. If subsurface soil conditions stop the 5400 hammer yet we are not in consolidated conditions, the 6620 hammer will often be successful at collecting the sample.

• Geoprobe® GH64 percussion hammer. The hammer has two new significant features: a Modular Percussion Power Cell and integrated two-speed, bi-directional rotation. The two-speed, bi-directional feature allows us to perform numerous rotational applications, including surface pavement coring and in some conditions subsurface rock coring, with a rotation speed of up to 550 rpm.
• Auger head offers more torque and is integrated onto a totally redesigned swing-out mounting system. The GA4100 auger head offers high rotational speeds for customers with rock coring requirements.
• The unit is mounted on a 58 hp Kubota diesel engine that’s Tier 3 compliant. Coupled to a high-capacity 40 gpm hydraulic pump.
• The durable 20-series track carrier components are used as the means for moving the machine around field sites at nearly 5 miles per hour.
